On construction sites, building areas and excavation sites, it is important to be able to dig into the ground regardless of the weather conditions. However, excavating and preparation of the ground can be a problem during winter when the frost sets in.
With DEVI electrical heating cables these problems can be solved quickly and efficiently. A quick placing of a cable mat , can thaw the ground overnight so it resembles a damp day in spring. A devimat™ is placed directly on the ground and covered with a foil coated winter mat (rock wool) or similar.

Your DEVI advisor can recommend products most suitable for your application. For ground thawing we recommend devimat™ DTIP. No regulation is necessary in connection with this type of application, but the connection must be earthed for safety reasons.
